Ronald McDonald Institute
For 22 years we have been fighting for a cure for cancer, which is the leading cause of death in children and young people aged 5 to 19. The programs supported by the Ronald McDonald Institute benefit around 30,000 adolescent children and their families every year. With this, the institution has contributed to increasing the chances of curing the disease, the organization works with networks of partner institutions that work for the same purpose in the various Brazilian regions, and allocates resources to projects to build and renovate support homes and medical units.
Ayrton Senna Institute
Carrying the name of one of Formula 1's greatest drivers, the NGO he conceived and dreamed up arose from the idea of wanting to do more for the children and young people of his country. Two months before his fatal accident, Senna shared this idea with his sister, who embraced it because she wanted to do more for the next generation. Although Ayrton wasn't able to take part in the construction, Viviane carried on her brother's dream even in the midst of mourning. Today, 27 years after it was founded, the Ayrton Senna Institute has been producing knowledge and innovative educational experiences capable of inspiring efficient practices.
Friends of Good
A non-profit organization that has been operating since 1993, it promotes education, work, income, water and housing in the hinterland of the northeast, thus promoting a dignified life for people living in extreme poverty.
Rio Verde Cancer Hospital
The Fundação Cristã Angélica - Hospital do Câncer de Rio Verde, founded on February 17, 1991, is a non-profit civil society under private law, with legal personality, and 93% of its services provided by the SUS. Over the years it has expanded its services, and today it is an institution that carries out cancer prevention and diagnosis in Rio Verde and the Southwest Region, with more than 700,000 inhabitants and eighteen municipalities.
Paraná Association for the Support of Children with Neoplasms
Founded on October 21, 1983, APACN was the first institution to support children and adolescents with cancer in Brazil. The story began with the unity and dedication of a group of couples, parents of children with some form of cancer, who were touched by the situation of families without conditions who were going through the same illness, arriving in the city without a home, money or even transportation. In solidarity, they formed a group that promptly set up a place to welcome these families with dignity, from the beginning to the end of their treatment.
Amazonas Sustainable Foundation
The Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS) is a Brazilian non-governmental, non-profit organization created on February 8, 2008, by Banco Bradesco in partnership with the Amazonas State Government. Subsequently, it began to count on the support of major world-renowned brands. In 2016, FAS assisted 9,597 families, benefiting 40,230 people living in 16 Conservation Units (UC) in Amazonas.
