The hair schedule has conquered many heads throughout Brazil, but many people still have doubts about the correct way to do the treatment.
Why doesthe hair schedule have 3 stages?
Totreat the hair for any deficiencies it may have. This means that it may be more deficient in water (hydration), lipids/oils (nutrition) or proteins (reconstruction). And even though the hair may have a greater or lesser deficiency in each part, it's important to treat all 3 areas.
Which stage should I start with?
Thisis the key question to guide any treatment, but for those of us who aren't specialists it's difficult to answer it precisely. After all, just looking at our hair makes it almost impossible to understand what it needs most at the moment. That's where a very simple trick comes in and helps a lot: the glass of water trick.
Cup trick:
Fill a glass with water and put a strand of hair in it. Wait about 10 minutes. Observe if:
- the hair sinks: a sign of high porosity, i.e. the cuticles are too open, the main tip is to replenish mass with a good reconstruction;
- the strand is in the middle of the glass: this means medium porosity, meaning your strands are healthy and the tip is to focus on nutrition.
- the hair floats: a sign of low porosity, the best treatment is moisturizing.
So, depending on the result above, you'll start the hair schedule with the stage your hair needs most: moisturizing, nourishing or reconstructing.
And this doesn't mean that you'll abandon the others, just that you'll boost the treatment in the most important stage for it. Below are the schedules for you to follow according to the result:
